EJ 25 Phenolic Intake Manifold Gaskets
Phenolic spacers go between the intake manifold and the head to insulate the intake manifold from the heat produced at the head. This in turn will lower your intake temperatures about 20-30 degrees F and in turn increase power.

Your engine will run up to a little over 200 degrees F. You’ll also need to make sure the phenolic is oil resistant. As for thickness 1/4″ is sufficient and most simple for installation.
